La canción fue grabada originalmente por George Jones en su álbum de 1990 You Oughta Be Here with Me y versionada por Kenny Rogers en su álbum de 1993 If Only My Heart Had a Voice. La versión de Rogers se publicó como sencillo en agosto de 1993. Posteriormente la grabó Blake Shelton, y su versión de la canción se publicó en marzo de 2002 como tercer y último sencillo de su álbum de debut autotitulado.
