NIH Office of the Director
Das Office of the Director (OD) ist verantwortlich für die Festlegung von Richtlinien für die NIH und für die Planung, Verwaltung und Koordinierung der Programme und Aktivitäten aller 27 Institute und Zentren der NIH. Zu den Programmbüros des OD gehören u.a. das Office of AIDS Research, Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research, Office of Disease Prevention, The Office of Strategic Coordination und Office of Research on Women’s Health.
