NIH Office of the Director
Het Office of the Director (OD) is verantwoordelijk voor het bepalen van het beleid voor NIH en voor de planning, het beheer en de coördinatie van de programma’s en activiteiten van alle 27 instituten en centra van NIH. Tot de OD-programmabureaus behoren onder meer het Office of AIDS Research, Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research, Office of Disease Prevention, het Office of Strategic Coordination en het Office of Research on Women’s Health.
